SAPPHIRE  WINDOW  SHEET

Sapphire is a kind of single crystal alumina with high heat-resistant,high strength and resistance to chemical attrack.It can be used as infrared and ultraviolet transmitting windows of aerospace instrument,laser,blast furnace temperature measuring and solor cell,protective shields of similar instrument and cover of neverwear watch.

Sapphire is used as window sheet which has advantages as follows:

　　* light transmitting band from 1500Å-5.5μ

　　* transmitting of infrared at 3-5μm>85%

　　* total transmitting of light>98.5% by integral ball method

　　* high hardness,transverse stength,resistance to chemical  attrack 

　　* good thermal conductivity coefficient

　　* low scattering coeficient 0.02,λ=26 to 31μm by 880℃
